This Zuni fetish is made from black onyx. It was carved into the image of a turtle. On the turtle's back is etched a flower, with a piece of turquoise at its center. Around the edge of the turtle's shell are etched other turtles. This turtle also has turquiose eyes. The turtle was carved by Zuni fetish artist Georgette Qualm. This turtle is about 2 inches long, 1.25 inches wide and stands about .5 inches tall. |
