This is a beautifully inlaid Navajo pendant. The top of the pendant is the representation of the Sunface. The Sunface is the representation of the harmonious living of the Native Americans and Mother Earth. The horizonal line represents the earth. The vertical line splits the top half of the circle into sun and sky. Below horizonal line is the representation of the universe. The dot in the universe is eye of god. The entire sunface shows the Native American tradition of the unity of man and nature. The bottom of the pendant is inlaid with turquoise, coral, opal, black onyx, and sugilite. The pendant is about 1.5 inches long and .33 inches wide. The pendant hangs from a 16 inch sterling silver chain.
