Navajo artist Dewayne Eskeets designed and carved this very beautiful red horsehair pot. Dewayne has been carving pots since 1997. He learned how to carve by watching other and then developed his own style. Dewayne is from the Towering House clan. He has a very unique style. He carved a wonderful flower on the top. Below the flower, was a maze, feather, mountains, steps, waves and lighting. The pot is painted black, bronze, gold, and silver. The beautiful pot stands about 5.5 inches tall, 7.7 inches wide and the mouth of the pot is about 1.75 inches wide. |
