Navajo artist Mabelene Grey designed and made this wonderful little round pot. Mabelene Grey is from Near the Mountain Coal for the Edge Water clan. She learned the art of etching pottery from her uncle. She has been etching pottery for the past 6 years. The pot is brown horsehair. It is etched with steps, mazes and feathers. The pot is round in shape. It is about 4 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide at its widest point and its mouth is about 1 inch wide. |
