Navajo artist Dee Nelson designed and made this wonderful etched horsehair vase. Dee and her sisters are accomplished pottery etchers. Dee is from the Tangle Clan of the Navajo Tribe. She enjoys carving traditional designs. This vase is made in the horsehair manner. It is painted in purple, green, blue, and gray. It is etched with the maze pattern, feathers and a step pattern. The vase is about 2 inches across and 4 inches tall. |
