This is a small Acoma engagement vase. The engagement vase is a representation of the braiding of two to one, but not joined to one. The bridge that crosses from the two openings is that representation. Acoma artist N. Mansfield designed and made this little vase. The vase has traditional Acoma patterns painted on it. It stands only 3 inches tall and is 2.5 inches wide. |
