Mata Ortiz artist Claudia D. Veloz designed this wonderfully etched pot. The Mata Ortiz, or Casa Grandes are from Chihuahua Mexico. They pot in the traditional coil method. This little pot has an amazing etched pattern of grass. Walking on the grass are several raccoons. This little pot is about 3 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide and has a mouth opening of 1 inch. |
