This small, 3 inch, terracotta clay vase is very beautiful. This vase shows the intricate work of the artist, Phyllis Clark. Phyllis is a Navajo, from the Folded Arm clan. She is known for her etched pottery. This vase has wonderful traditional patterns carved all the way around it. The neck of the vase is dark brown, almost black. The rest of the vase is a burnt terracotta color. |
