Navajo potter and artist Dena Johnson designed and made this wonderful little pot. The pot is a dark horse hair pot that is etched with a pyramid and feather pattern. The bot is painted with a dark burgundy through the pyramids. Ms. Johnson was born in 1972. She is from the "Kiayaani" clan. She learned to carve from her brother Dennis Charlie. This pot is about 2.5 inches wide, the mouth is 1.25 inches across and it stands about 2.5 inches tall. |
