This signed Zuni pin shows the delicate work of the Zuni silversmiths. The signature is "DE". This pin also has a sterling silver loop that would allow it to be worn as a necklace or pin. The hummingbird has mother of pearl inlaid into its body, wings, and head. Black onxy accents it's tail body and eye. Turquoise is found in its neck and the tip of one tail feather. At the tip of one wing is found a piece of red coral. The hummingbirds beak is sterling silver. The hummingbird is about 1 inch long and 1 inch wide, from the tip of its beak, to the tip of the wings. |
