Zuni silversmith and artist Vera Haluswa designed and made this wonderful example of needlepoint work. This pin centers around the traditional sun design. Radiating out from the center are separate section representing the different sections of a snowflake. Each section has small pieces of turquoise that were cut to fit the shape of the snowflake. This pin is about 1.5 inches wide and long. |
